Skype is software that lets you use your computer and internet connection to speak by telephone with anyone, anywhere in the world.

Thunderbird allows the use of internet telephone services on our PCs. The service most widely used on the campus is Skype. You need to provide your personal credit card to set up an account when downloading the Skype software. The individual paying for each Skype account owns it. Your Skype account may be eligible for expense reimbursement, if pre-approved by your supervisor.
